In mechanical repair, short tooth inner ring gears are often encountered. The modulus of the gear, the root height and other parameters are consistent with the parameters of the standard gear. Only the height coefficient h (?) = 0.6 of the tooth tip is inconsistent with the height coefficient of the top of the standard gear, so that it cannot be processed with the standard gear shaping cutter. For this reason, we use the old standard gear shaping cutter to repair the grinding (only grinding the outer circle and the rear corner) for good results.
