"Wired" has announced the latest exclusive aerial photographs, presented us with a clearer data center for North Carolina, and two surrounding areas under development. The original 500,000-square-foot data center, together with the area under development, is easily over 1 million square feet, and a further 100 acres is further developed.
The white building on the top of the picture is the data center of Apple. It is the power behind iCloud. There is still an open space next to the data center (No. 2 area). According to speculation, this may be Apple's 4.8 megawatt biogas biological function center. A further 100 acres, which is the third area in the picture, is speculated to be Apple's solar field, and the efficiency will reach 20 megawatts.
