The new TENDO E tool holder from SCHUNK in Germany eliminates the need for users to adjust their tool holders to the different requirements of milling, drilling and reaming. This hydraulic expansion chuck can safely transmit torque (torque of 20mm clamping chuck diameter up to 520Nm), and it is very suitable for high-volume processing.
The important feature of the TENDO E chuck is its excellent vibration absorption performance and high jump accuracy (less than 0.003 mm when the tool length to diameter ratio is 2.5), which protects the spindle and the tool from damage. This chuck is suitable for common spindle interface types including HSK-A63, SK40, BT40, CAT40 and CAT50. The chuck can be quickly changed by an Allen wrench.
