The Dalian Institute of Technology's technique simply puts a pair of metal iron nanoparticles that are easy to “hit†and wears a “shell armor†made of carbon nanotubes. The active electrons of iron atoms are like the hands of soldiers. However, it is possible to freely move outside the “shell armor†to complete the reduction reaction of the catalytic oxygen molecules, thereby realizing the stable operation of the fuel cell in the acidic environment and significantly improving the anti-poisoning ability of the fuel cell in actual operation. The relevant research results of this technology have been selected as an important progress by the German Applied Chemistry, and have been awarded as highlights by the C&EN news of the American Chemical Society.
