According to reports, Pan Jianwei, Lu Chaoyang and others have used their own proprietary international quantum dot single photon source with integrated performance, and built an optical quantum computing prototype for multiphoton “Bose sampling†tasks through electronically controlled programmable photonic circuits. .
Experimental tests have shown that the sampling speed of this prototype has been accelerated at least 24,000 times faster than similar experiments conducted by international peers. At the same time, compared with the classic algorithms, it is also the first electronic tube computer (ENIAC) and the first transistor computer (TRADIC) in human history. ) Runs 10-100 times faster.
Pan Jianwei said that this is the first single-photon-based quantum simulator that surpasses the early classical computer in history, laying the foundation for the ultimate realization of quantum computing beyond classical computing capabilities.
