Catalogue of Forbidden Products Related to Aluminum Processing Trade in 2008

The Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs issued the Catalogue of Prohibited Commodities for Processing Trade in 2008 (Announcement No. 22 of 2008) on April 5, 2008. According to the 2008 “Import and Export Tariff of the People’s Republic of China” and the requirements of the State’s macro regulation and control, Revised and supplemented the catalogue of the bans on processing trade that have been issued. The announcement also applies to customs special supervision areas such as bonded zones and export processing zones, except for enterprises that have been established and engaged in the processing of related commodities before the announcement. In addition, the announcement stated that the products that have been announced by the state as being prohibited from importing and exporting are also applicable to the processing trade mode. From the date of the announcement, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs and the State Environmental Protection Administration No. 17 announcement in 2007 and the Catalogue attached to the Announcement of the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China in 2007 will be suspended. The transitional period and other related regulations shall be implemented as originally announced. .
The 2008 edition of the Catalogue of Prohibited Products in Processing Trade contained a total of 1,816 customs product codes, including 39 new prohibited goods catalogues and 598 second batch of processed trade prohibited goods catalogues in 2007.
