According to the statistics of the province's encrypted rainfall stations from 08:00 to 24:00 on the 23rd, some areas of Guangyuan, Bazhong, Mianyang, Deyang, Chengdu, Ya'an, Leshan, Meishan and Liangshan were down by heavy rains and heavy rains. There are 36 stations larger than 100 mm, 83 stations with 50-100 mm, and 175 stations with 25-50 mm. The largest rainfall center is located in Shima Town, Youxian District, Mianyang City, with a rainfall of 188.9 mm.

   Due to the recent strong rainfall, the flood control situation in the river basin of our province is severe. All localities need to strengthen the flood control work according to the characteristics of the rainfall in this process. Local heavy rainfall is also very likely to induce natural disasters such as flash floods, mudslides, and landslides. In particular, Wenchuan earthquake-stricken areas need to strengthen monitoring and early warning, while paying attention to the defense of lightning disasters.
   It is suggested that the agricultural area should seize the intermittent precipitation and timely harvest the mature spring corn and tobacco leaves; the rice area in the first season should strengthen the field water and fertilizer management, laying the foundation for the formation of large spikes and increasing the number of grains per ear. In addition, all localities should strengthen the monitoring and prevention of pests and diseases.
