In the early stage, I purchased simulation software such as Mechanical and CFX according to the simulation task requirements of different disciplines, and obtained sufficient application, and achieved good results in solving the single-disciplinary "single-point simulation" application. Because commercial CAX software is complicated and different in use, it has high requirements for engineers. The application of various simulation software is only mastered by a few people, resulting in low software utilization, low precision of simulation results, and insufficient value.
As a design simulation tool integration and application platform, ANSYS Workbench provides a unified framework for integrating the various analysis tools required for electromechanical product design simulation and graphically managing the simulation analysis process for analysis. The process is highly integrated and tightly integrated with the analytical tools. At the same time, Workbench provides a single engineering analysis work environment in which the product can be analyzed for routine analysis of linear, nonlinear, static, dynamic, fluid, etc., as well as real computer-based virtual prototype simulation. system.
With the Workbench platform, you can improve the current state of design simulation from the following aspects:
1) Through the integration of CAE software, open the data interface between CAD to CAE and CAE software to achieve complete data transfer and form a complete analysis process data flow;
2) Provide an integrated environment to achieve “interface consistency, data sharing, functional interconnection, and unified management†for each discipline's software;
3) Build a wizard-based simulation process to standardize the simulation steps to avoid the same simulation problems, and the results of different people's analysis are different;
4) Construct a parametric simulation mechanism, such as meshing, working condition setting, and solver solving, which is executed by the Workbench background calling software.
Second, Workbench template customization
In the mature simulation analysis technology foundation and tool conditions (ANSYS Mechanical, ICEM-CFD and CFX, etc.) of our mechanical and electrical products, we comb the analysis process, open the data flow of analysis, and integrate customization into the Workbench platform to build different products and Simulation template system for parts. The main customization work includes the following:
· Data input interface customization, which can read data such as strength and model required for fluid analysis;
· Guided simulation process customization, guide and guide engineers to complete the complete process of geometric model import, meshing, solution setting, result extraction and analysis according to standardized steps;
· Parameterization setting window, including grid setting box, boundary parameter setting box, etc.;
· Post-processing function to achieve automatic extraction of typical simulation results and automatic generation of analysis reports.
The simulation template development selected four mature simulation application processes of two specialties: static simulation of trough type cradle; static strength simulation of barrel type cradle; contact simulation of latch body and lock seat; impact flow field simulation. Based on the carding simulation process, four professional simulation templates were developed.
