Ball Rolling Bearing This is the simplest type of rolling bearing structure used in knitting circular machines. The pinion gear is supported by a set of rolling elements that are discharged in the large mesa groove and positioned radially against the cylindrical surface. The rolling elements and gears of this structure can be lubricated with either grease or oil bath. Of course, the latter is more conducive to the high speed and low noise of the machine and the maintenance of good motion accuracy. The biggest advantage of this type of bearing is its simple construction and low manufacturing and installation costs. Compared with the steel track type rolling bearing to be described below, the disadvantage is that the wear resistance is slightly inferior.

Steel track type rolling bearing is the most widely used and most mature type of support structure in modern knitting circular machine. It is characterized by a small cross-sectional area. Available in both metric and imperial sections. Generally, the steel ball and the steel ball are separated by a nylon spacer. When the machine is running, the steel balls roll along a fixed circular track along four wires at four corners. The small cross-section allows this support structure to be designed to be very compact in the machine. The biggest advantage of steel track bearings is that they are suitable for large-diameter rotating and low-energy machines, which meets the transmission requirements of knitting circular machines.

The most typical structure of a steel track bearing is a three-body-enclosed structure. It generally encloses a square-section steel track bearing in the middle by a fixed large table top body, a movable pinch seat gear and a compression ring. If the steel ball in the square section is used as the center of the structure, the support structure can be further divided into the upper inner pressure ring type and the upper outer pressure type according to the position of the compression ring relative to the center of the steel ball and the syringe. Ring type; lower inner pressure ring type; lower outer pressure ring type four forms.

However, in terms of the convenience of adjusting and replacing the steel track bearing, it is the best example of all of the aforementioned three physical enclosed wire track bearing structures. This structure is not only convenient to adjust the gap of the steel track bearing, but the thickness of the gasket can be replaced by loosening the screw. Moreover, when it is necessary to replace the steel track bearing, the compression ring can be easily removed without removing any other parts, and the new steel track bearing can be quickly reinstalled.
