1.AirSlip gas forging skills

AirSlip's air-slip forging skill is an important process of Wagastaff. It was developed and put into the market in 1982.

So far, the global forging shop has approximately 800 gas-slip forging production lines, because the use of this skill to produce good quality products has always been the preferred skill of aluminum manufacturers.

AirSlip also has a small shell area feature. Compared with the traditional forging skills, the forging is faster, the production cost is more competitive, the product grain structure is even, and the homogenization cycle time is shortened. It is less oil consuming and reduces the cooling water flow rate.

2. LHC aluminum slab forging skills

The LHC aluminum slab forging skill is a new skill developed by Wagastaff company. Its quality can be compared with the slab quality produced by the electromagnetic forging skill, but the production cost is lower than the electromagnetic forging production slab. LHC forged slabs are characterized by good product quality, high yield, low waste, low energy consumption and reliable performance, and because of the low flow rate of cooling water, energy is saved.

The outstanding feature of the LHC aluminum slab forging skill is that the oil retention system is selected on the slab mold, and in the forging process, the mold smooth oil that reaches the cooling water system is first omitted.

The adherence of the oil to the smoothness of the system reduces the cost of disposing cooling water. The oil adherence system suspends the dripping of the smooth oil when the mold deflection system is selected, reduces the “oil splashing” around the forging station, reduces the amount of oil entering the cooling water system, and then makes work around the forging station. Personnel reduce the appearance of slippery walking.

3. Ensure Fork Safe StopCast Skills

In order to ensure the safety of operators in the forging process, Wagastaff developed a StopCast system for aluminum pool leak detection systems. This system actively disconnects the continuous flow of aluminum water when the aluminum water leaks during kneading blank forging process. The time required is only a few seconds; without a StopCast system, shutting off successive aluminum streams takes a few minutes or even longer.

Further development is still underway for the selection of the AirSlip kneading forging skills and the StopCast skill production line.

4. Develop Forged Gas Handling Skills AutoFlo to Improve AutoCast SCADA Level

Wagastaff developed AutoFlo, a gas handling technology for AirSlip's gas-slip forging skills, and it has been successfully used in industrial production. The user response is excellent. The use of this skill eliminates the need for excessive operator participation and reduces the exposure of operators. Aluminum water before the opportunity.

Wagastaff further improved the level of AutoCastSCADA, provided newer hardware and software, and used SCADA as the “special” function of AutoCast.
