Our factory processes large roller cone shaft (Fig. 1), the axle weight is 4.5t, the total length is 4980mm, the cone length is 3600mm, the taper is 1:30, the material is 45 steel, 220~250HB. Our factory has no special equipment for car taper. Therefore, the automatic cone taper device is installed on the C165 lathe made in the Soviet Union to process the long taper shaft.
